I’m lost…. why is this news?

as far as love or hate; eh… i’m losing my love for HK pistols (other than the p7 of course) as some of the modern designs are just soo easy to shoot.

but again, the P7 will always be tops.

Jeez, Lance, the grips don’t look much different than my H&K USP40…and, as I understand it, this is a development of that fine series of hand-cannons. I have average-size hands, and I really have no problem with mine…I wouldn’t see any major adjustment problems with the HK45. The Kimber is a fine piece, tho…

My hands aren’t huge and I find it very comfortable to hold.

It’s also very accurate and utterly reliable. I’d sell my 1911 before selling my HK45.

Love it. It was my first pistol. I was shopping around, thinking about a Glock 21S or an XD, then went to the local Fun Show and saw the HK45. When I picked it up for the first time it handled so well, like it had been made for my hands, and I swear there were angels singing somewhere. It was all King Arthur, Excalibur and the Lady of the Lake ;-) I actually have pretty small paws, but the large back strap just hugs the pocket between my thumb and forefinger.

I kind of fail to see the point in HK45. 10 rounds of 45 ACP on a gun that goes, what, $1.1K?

I do have to say though, even as an avid HK hater, I do like the P30. But then again, 15 rounds of 9mm just seems so… 80′s.

On the other hand, the FNP line seems to offer a comparable package with a much greater price point advantage. And then there’s the Glock. And then there’s the M&P.

    I love the free market.
