HK45
You either love it, or you hate it. The HK45.
My hands aren’t huge and I find it very comfortable to hold.
It’s also very accurate and utterly reliable. I’d sell my 1911 before selling my HK45.

0Love it! Shoots almost as accurate as my Kimber Custom but lighter and way more reliable.

0I hate it.

0Love it. It was my first pistol. I was shopping around, thinking about a Glock 21S or an XD, then went to the local Fun Show and saw the HK45. When I picked it up for the first time it handled so well, like it had been made for my hands, and I swear there were angels singing somewhere. It was all King Arthur, Excalibur and the Lady of the Lake
I actually have pretty small paws, but the large back strap just hugs the pocket between my thumb and forefinger.

0Since I have yet to find a 1911 that actually fits my hands, this is the gun I am saving my pennies for … lot’s and lot’s of pennies.

0Or……………
It hates you!

0Whether you love it or hate it, H&K hates you…

0You could barely finish of 3 bad guys with 10 rounds. Think tactically my friends!

0Good quality gun but not my style, way to big for my needs but if I were going to war…

0Why an ambi slide stop but not safety?

0I’m lost…. why is this news?
as far as love or hate; eh… i’m losing my love for HK pistols (other than the p7 of course) as some of the modern designs are just soo easy to shoot.
but again, the P7 will always be tops.

0Love it.

0Did they make some changes?

0Any 45 is to be admired.

0Well, after playing Metal Gear Solid, whete the main pistol is the Mk23, I’ve always wanted a HK in 45, nerd dream.

0I kind of fail to see the point in HK45. 10 rounds of 45 ACP on a gun that goes, what, $1.1K?
I do have to say though, even as an avid HK hater, I do like the P30. But then again, 15 rounds of 9mm just seems so… 80′s.
On the other hand, the FNP line seems to offer a comparable package with a much greater price point advantage. And then there’s the Glock. And then there’s the M&P.
I love the free market.

0This is what we been waiting for ( HK 45 ) WHAT A GUN VERY NICE ..can’t go wrong
0
0gotta love it, even if you can’t afford it!
0
0But can you stick a red dot on it.
(Whereas with the FNP45 Tactical you have a claimed “remove panel in front of the rear iron sight, drop in red dot, adjust height for cowitness” function.)

0HK – Because you suck and we hate you.
Not a fanboy. There are better alternatives for a lower price point these days. Don’t limit yourself because of a brand name.

0I’d love to have one, but not sure I’d love it enough to pay $1000 for it.

0Good gun,well made,verry acurate,but nothing extraordinary.IMO

0As with most things that involve guns- Don’t hate the gun, hate the user.

0It’s not the pistol, it’s the attitude of the company that I dislike. Purchasing one of their products supports that attitude.

0Great article with Larry Vickers and Ken Hackathorn about developing this pistol

0Jeez, Lance, the grips don’t look much different than my H&K USP40…and, as I understand it, this is a development of that fine series of hand-cannons. I have average-size hands, and I really have no problem with mine…I wouldn’t see any major adjustment problems with the HK45. The Kimber is a fine piece, tho…

1Forgetaboutit.
1911 All the way. If you don’t like 1911, then Sig P220 R… Always.

1Nice if you got base ball mitts for hands to fit it. Go Kimber 1911 all the way.
