Ammunition plant explodes in Memphis, TN

One man has died in an explosion at the Kinematics Research Ammunition plant in Memphis, TN. Very sad indeed.

The last ammunition factory explosion in the United States was just 7 months ago and two weeks before that there was another.

Are they sure these were all “accidental”?

the rates (per capita, not per unit of trade in ammunition, which is likely predictable as insurance actuaries would most probably point out) of such fatalities would naturally increase with the increase of mostly (let’s stack afghanistan, iraq and mexico together) government generated rise in ammunition sales over the last 8 years. i doubt nearly so many people or facilities would be needed to make 5.56×45 and luger rounds (et cetera) were it not for these ongoing wars.
