LaRue Tactical Range Day 2010 Review

The Ready Magazine blog has posted a review of last month’s LaRue Tactical Range Day 2010.

Being from the area and an avid shooter, I gathered up my step-son and a couple of friends and headed to Liberty Hills to take part in LaRue Tactical’s Range Day 2010.

An estimated 3000 people descended on the sports complex for a chance to give these products a try.

One of the three thousand here! It was a great time, well worth getting sunburned and having the suppressed FA rifle blow hot gas back in my eye.

I purchased a GSG522 in black a couple of months ago, here in New Jersey. It is built really well and also works superbly. It takes both regular 22lr and the CCI mini-mags. I it very accurate, even though I was only shooting at 25 yds. I put a reflex sight on it and it worked very well. I also works well without it.
Would you believe that yesterday I stopped by the sporting goods store where I purchased the black GSG522, and I saw they had gotten one in that had the nickel plated receiver and clamp for the barrel. I traded in the black and got the nickel one. I just love to buy and trade rifles and guns. I do more trading then I do shooting. LOL. I guess I am just a Gunaholic when it comes to shopping. LOL
