    Lee Michaels won the Vintage Match at Camp Perry a couple years ago with his Krag and some handloads. I’ve shot a couple of doe tags with mine. Love carrying it. The CMP parts and pieces are pretty rough. I bought mine on Gunbroker. CMP does have some new barrels.

    Just a little side note of history on the Norwegian 1894 Krag-Jorgenson rifle…The first 20,000 were made by Steyr in Austria! Of the 215,000 total Norwegian Krags produced, Steyr produced 33,500 of them…

    Also, one should know that the stey produced Krags are the smoothest Krags you can get if you are interested in Krags ofcourse.
