For SBR firearms: Barnes 30 SBR 110 grain TAC-X Bullets
Barnes has developed a new .308 caliber TAC-X bullet. The 30 SBR 110 grain TAC-X is designed for maximum expansion at lower velocities than the regular TAC-X bullets. This makes it perfect for short barreled .300 AAC Blackout, .300 Whisper, .30 Remington AR firearms and .308 Win. guns such as the DS Arms FAL pistol.
The bullets are selling for $31.65 / per 50.

so who has load data for this?
I have a 300whisper, I have been shooting Hornady 110 Vmax, which expand to about a nickel sized flat slug in water jugs.
I was thinking about the Barnes 110 *Tipped* tsx bullets (http://barnesbullets.myshopify.com/products/30-cal-308-110-gr-ttsx-fb) but pretty expensive to just play with. The tip should get pushed back and make it expand more easily. http://www.shootingillustrated.com/Extraordinary.html
The Nosler 125 BT have a very good history in 300W guns. Lots of deer killed with them.
I have experimented with the Barnes 150 grain bullet for 30-30 in 300W. That one has a big fat hallow point, but still a little heavy for 300 in supersonic mode. http://barnesbullets.myshopify.com/products/308-150-gr-tsx-fn-fb-30-30-win
This new bullet is great news for all of us with the 300W type guns.
Now if Barnes could make a 250 grain slug which expands at 1000fps, that would be something!
