Army Spec Op Snipers win International Sniper Competition

Army Special Ops Snipers came in first at 10th Annual International Sniper Competition held at Fort Benning.

Army Spc. Lawrence England, a sniper with the 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, looks over his rifle downrange at his target during the 10th Annual International Sniper Competition at Fort Benning, Ga.

    edward, how did you like the h58 reticle? i was thinking of going with a H25, but know very little about the h58. What are your thoughts on this?

    We won with larue tactical OBRs, 20″ and 16″ barrel. sniper and spotter respective. M118LR 7.62. nothing fancy we just shot a clean match.

    Congratulations to all the the participants. The British and Canadians certainly aren’t slackers when it comes to sniping as I hear it.

    I guess a good deal of that $72,000 is for the optics package? Also I cant seem to find any info as to which countries took place….

    Well I would hope they would win considering that weapon package costs over $30,000. There was a set of “deployment packages” for sale on Gunbroker not long ago. Two consecutive s/n sets, $72,000 for the pair.

    Is part of their score based on their costumes? Otherwise, I think it’s kind of silly to dress up to ‘hide’ from all those spectators.
