Happy Birthday Firearm Blog! And what a super fun 3 years it has been – anti-gun Obama gaining office, people hoarding ammunition, the recession, war, terrorism, ecological disasters, etc. :(

Only joking! The Firearm Blog has kept me thoroughly informed and entertained for the last three years and long may it reign!

    (p.s. – Where’s the cake?)

  • CinSC

It’s always a pleasure. Keep up the good work!

Steve, I enjoy your blog on an almost daily basis. I like the format and content. One minor criticism; there are a lot of spelling errors on simple words. For example, “summery” instead of “summary”. This is actually a bad example since “summery” is a valid word, just not the one you intended to write.

  • Pred

Congratz :D I really like your blog cause i think that’s the easyiest way to stay updated to weapon’s world <3
NB sorry for my english, i'm from italy :P

Congratulations, man! I haven’t been reading the blog for all that long (I’d say just a few months), but I can see why it’s been so successful. No politics, just great news tidbits of (and around the topic of) firearms. Makes for a real international news source; I’m from Finland myself.

    Here’s to three more years!

  • shinayne

Happy Birthday, O Firearm Blog! Here’s to many more! Next time I’m at the range I’ll cap off a few rounds in your honor; responsibly, with something interesting (maybe a Steyr-Hahn 1912), and without spurious nonsense. A most excellent record, and a credit to our community. Cheers!

    • http://www.thefirearmblog.com Steve

Squidpuppy, how about you be cool like they are in the movies and write “TFB” on a target with your Steyr from at least 1 mile away ;)

  • Squidpuppy

I’ll see if I can find some doves too, so I can properly John Woo it flying through the air slowmo ^_^ Hm, will need two guns; okay, Mauser C96 in the other hand…

  • Harald Hansen

Happy anniversary to you! Besides good writing and interesting stories, I’m quite certain that the key to your success is keeping politics out of it all. It gets tiresome real quickly on most other firearms sites.
