SoulTown, Jim Webb is a good example of who you’re thinking of. Former Secretary of the Navy, Democrat Senator from Virginia, and arrested a few times for carrying a pistol into some buildings he shouldn’t have.
That and for some reason almost every tech worker in the Bay Area either owns a gun or likes to shoot guns. Odd.

There, there people. You CAN be a liberal and pro-gun; there are pretty good websites that describe why UNABASHED pro-2nd amendment stance (CCW, SBRs, full auto, and all that goodies anti-gun people choke over) is consistent with liberal values. And as a Seattle liberal, I agree!!

i don’t have a problem with “liberals with guns”, the second amendment, as with the whole bill of rights, applies to everybody. my “problem” is with “pledges” to “serve” any politician. they are our servants in office, not our masters, and when they begin to think themselves greater than the people and laws they were chosen to serve its time to boot them out, and if they will not go then drag them, kickin and screaming, if we must, from their seats.

I have taken pictures from in front of the firing line without actually standing in front of the firing line. How you ask? These days most cameras have a “self timer” on them and even some that have remote controls making it possible to place the camera in front of the Red line while the range is cold and taking pictures while the range is hot without endangering anyone. And between how much money the two of them have I bet they can afford some really nice remote controlled camera.

yes, the ppl have so much power that we can tell them to behave themselves if they do whatever they please…good lock dragging them out when they have police, the military, and private contractors walking the parameter of their golden throne.

Is there some kind of electromagnetic pull with these new fangled plastic guns that causes them to point directly at the camera person when someone is slightly forward?..otherwise I don’t get it…
I’ve been on plenty of firing lines(local,rural and in-town) where people where forward of other shooters,handguns and rifles and OMG even full auto..yet no one was hurt and no shots went errant and struck someone.
I was fortunate enough to visit a law enforcement firing line and some officers were practicing pistol and carbine and one was always kneeling in front of the other(similar to shooting over a Crown Vic’s hood) and the RO there didn’t throw any kind of fit either..

Nice range safety. He’s standing forward of her (and, more importantly, the muzzle) while her finger is on the trigger. ALWAYS treat a weapon as loaded, so, IT’S LOADED.

Eh, after GI Jane, she probably has enough experience on the platform to smoke quite a few people off the line. Though her stock is too far off her shoulder at least she’s not chicken winging too bad
