Bushmaster ACR

SayUncle made this video of the ACR at the NRA Show.

Unc said about the trigger ...

Also, the ACR had an amazing out of the box trigger. I even asked if it was a special trigger and was told that was standard. Little creep and a nice clean break.

FINALLY, WE GET THE ACR. AFTER YEARS… OF WAITING. I AM STILL WAITING WITH HOPE FOR THE AK MODEL. I HAVE WAY TOO MANY .223/5.56 RIFLES. CHECK OUT HITLER ACR ON YOUTUBE. IT IS HILARIOUS TO THE HARDCORE GUN FANATICS. BUSHMASTER IS COOL WITH ALL THE CALIBERS. I AM PART OF THE MARKETING PLAN WITH BUSHMASTER. I WILL PROBABLY SELL MY FN SCAR WITH SCOPE TO BUY AN ACR. AS I HAVE ANOTHER ONE NEW IN THE BOX. THE FN SCAR 16L SHOOTS GREAT AND IS A GREAT PIECE OF ENGINEERING. BELGIAN FN IS AWESOME. MY TWO SWAT FRIENDS REALLY LIKED MY SCAR 5.56. THEY WERE SHOOTING A SAVAGE .300 WINCHESTER MAG BOLT RIFLE. THEY WERE SHOOTING DEAD ON WITH THE SAVAGE AND THE SCAR. THAT IS WHY THEY ARE EXPERTS. THEY HAD TOOLS AND THEY HELPED ME ZERO IN THE SCAR. CHARLOTTE COUNTY FL HAS AN AWESOME RANGE.

I purchased a Bushmaster ACR Enhanced. My first trip to the range was a bit of a nightmare. I had several “slam fires” with .223 ammo, but 5.56 worked without a hitch. I am trying to resolve the problem with Bushmaster.

One round fired when releasing the the bolt with the bolt release button. Please be careful with it until you get some experience with the weapon. No one was injured, but that was due to following proper safety protocols.

Actually, i have buddies that have 74M’s for under 1,000. I havent seen any that expensive, and if i did, Ill agree with you, way too expensive for an AK.

Ill admit, the ACR is technologically a superior weapon to most guns on the market, but its way to expensive to be a gun “for the people”

Went and shot a ACR at the range. Highly accurate, controllable, and comfortable to shoot, not to mention flexible. I really have a love for the ACR, despite my skepticism for polymers (though they haven’t let me down yet ex. Magpul magazines).

JoeB, a AK74M and AK100 series costs as much as a AR15 and is a inferior weapon in terms of flexibility, accuracy, and ability to obtain parts. Don’t get me wrong, i think AK’s are fine weapons, though i think with new technology and firearms designs, the AKs have finally been eclipsed. Perhaps if a AK74M was 400-500 dollars id think they were the best. With a 1000-1200 dollar price tag, no thank you.

Buying a ACR the first chance i get. :)

the original Masada was cooler, I don’t like some of the mods, and I would rather buy it directly from Remington, because Bushmaster wants the price of a SCAR for the basic version. No quad rail on front, and no adjustable stock.

Is it true that it has more recoil than an AR? That’s what I heard, which is hard to believe considering it’s heavier.

And I hear an Osprey piston kit on a 20 inch AR makes it feel like your firing .22.

Maybe this explains why Magpul went high end, the ACR is just really not that impressive. And can’t really compete on a level playing field.

I wanted one a long time ago….but at that price, I could buy a pistol Sig 516 WITH ACOG and never wonder if I made a bad decision.

Tired of hearing about this weapon. Its become gimmicky, too corporate… Far from its roots of a modernized weapon system, “for the people.”

All this ACR coverage is starting to get insidious, I’m not sure how much longer I can last out.

Please, someone normal go out and buy one and tell me it’s a piece of garbage, otherwise I might just crack. I’m getting tempted to throw my hard earned at Remington, so their executives can go out and buy even more hookers and coke…er, I mean buy more firearms companies.

I wonder when the coyote tan basic ones are going to start shipping. I ordered one before they were shipping at all and still haven’t received it yet.

I was at a gun show this weekend and finally got to hold and ACR. It was nice I suppose. Not $2400 nice but nice. Heavier than I’d have thought. It was actually selling for less money than the black SCAR right next to it. I almost pulled out the credit card… almost.
