The iPad is like the .45 GAP. No one can really tell you what it's good at, but it sure is expensive.
How long until somebody publishes photos of an iPad filled with 9mm holes? I say six months.

I bet within six months we will probably see everything mentioned: Magpul iPad case (awesome), Ballistics program (awesome), and someone will shoot it (awesome). Maybe the iPad will distract people from hating the Bushmaster ACR for a while….maybe….

Just wait until someone brings one to Israel. Israelis are known for shooting tourist’s Apple products:

HP just released a commercial for their new Slate, which has all the features and capabilities that the iPad doesn’t have (plus a better name). Trust me, it’ll be less than 6 months.

Personally, I’m gonna wait until they come out with the Ipad Nano which has added features like a built in camera and the ability to make phone calls.

I think more interesting questions would be:
*How long until someone makes a ballistic calculator app for it? (comes with presets for the M242 Bushmaster 25mm autocannon, the GAU-8 Avenger 30mm gatling cannon and the Rheinmetall 120mm smoothmore gun)
*How long until Magpul makes a custom case for it?
