BUSHMASTER NOT LAYING OFF EXECUTIVES

Multiple people in the Freedom Group have assured me that Bushmaster is not laying off any executives.

I retract my previous statement on the subject.

I profoundly apologize for stating that executives were being laid off.

I don't believe anybody lied to me, but rather I misinterpreted the information given to me.

I retract my previous post on the topic. I apologize to anyone who many have been caused distress by my previous post on this topic.

    Steve,
Very refreshing an actual American taking responsibility for themselves and their actions. I can tell, without meeting you in person that you are a man of character and high moral fiber. You have a reader for life.

    Keep up the good work.

Ever thought about publishing a magazine or submitting your work to a major publication?

Ether someone is loosing a job or not. Confusion as to who or win sure but a complete retraction?

This story is missing a whole lot of something. Namely what it was you were told, I assume both times.

    1. What you were originally told.

    2. What you were told that made you retract your statement.

You definitely know you’ve made it as a blogger when you post something that maybe wasn’t vetted quite enough and have high ups in the industry crapping their pants.

Yeah, I wouldn’t ‘profoundly’ apologize if I were you Steve, this could be yet more damage limitation PR corporate douche-baggery.

The number of companies I’ve worked for over the last few years who’ve given out the ‘everything’s great’ line before sacking loads of people is…er, 4. If you’ve heard rumors that people are going, then people are going.

Everyone knows that The Freedom Group need to consolodate funds for their SkyNet, T-800 and Hunter / Killer production runs – it’s plainly obvious to anyone with half a brain (i.e. me).

Well thank god they aren’t laying of any executives. Wouldn’t want to fire a single VP and keep a guy at the loading dock, a salesman, and a gunsmith employed now would we.

In all seriousness, what does this reorganization do to the grunts in the factory? The machinists, armorers, test firers, dock crews, and delivery drivers that get these guns to my local FFL?

Good show posting a clear retraction. Thats something bloggers can dedicate space to that the papers barely give a column and a few lines to.

Good fact-checking and retractions when needed are what keep us readers coming back for more.

    No sarcasm intended, there.
