$10,000 Glock Still Unsold
Heh, the $10,000 Glock, mentioned before on the blog, has again failed to sell on Gun Broker.
It hardly looks like it is worth $10,000.

The beauty of the glock is its utilitarian looks.
If you take this away then the glock is damn bloody ugly to the sleek and curvy steel of a 1911 or even a less curvy with custom grip Sig pistol.
It could work but I have yet to see someone succeed.

0It’s like putting white-walls on a garbage truck.

0I, for one, would definitely pay $10,000 for the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.

0stock $450.00 , or $10,000 , your still dead !

010,000 for this? That’s a waste of money if i ever did see one!
I would pay $10,001 for the Holy Hand Grenade!

0This should never be done to a glock or any polymer frame gun for that matter.

0Nobody ever accused a Glock of being a work of art.

0Send it to Mexico. It will sell for twice the asking price.

0I bet you could get a brand new pistol, custom engraved to your specs directly from Glock, for a lot less than ten thousand dollars.
…should you actually want one…

0Engraving is almost never cool on semi-automatic weapons IMO — certain Browning BARs and collector 1911s/Thompsons not withstanding. Double for anything with polymer/nylon/composite/etc. Looks great on almost any gun designed before 1900.
A $10,000 Glock? How bout a transferable Glock 18 with ten 33rnd mags and several cases of NATO-spec 9mm ammo?

0I think the demographic that would find this weapon attractive probably won’t have enough money for purchase until they can sell the next shipment…

0Why would you want to pay 10 grand for a hand grenade, even if it is the holy hand grenade.

0Still too much black plastic it should have been completly gold plated then it would have sold.

0I think I’ve figured out why this pistol is so asthetically displeasing and it has to do with the contrast between the gold and the black plastic. It’s like having a Rolls Royce grill on the front of a Kia, it just doesn’t work.
I’m not a fan of the Glock’s looks in the first place, so maybe I’m biased.
