Confirmed: Glock 17 and 22 will be first Gen-4

Last week I blogged ...

I have also heard from a trustworthy source (I cannot reveal the source) that the Gen-4 G17 and G22 models

This is now doubly confirmed. RSR Group, a firearm distributor, has listed the Glock 17 and 22 GEN4 on their website.

Safariland lists “dual mag release” Glock pistols in the latest updates to their holster charts. They are a separate entry from the regular G17/19/22/23. I am guessing these are the Gen 4 Glock pistols.

pat, I would say probably not before June 2010. This is just a guess and not based on any anything I have heard.
