saw one in person today.. awesome looking gun up close.. the ghost ring rear sight and fiber optic front sight are really intriguing…

Colt still insists on keeping that ugly and unpractical beavertail grip safety. I can only speculate it is saving money some labor costs. That alone has kept me from buying a Colt pistol, the last time I purchased a Colt 1911 was in the 1980’s. I own only one Colt out of an extensive collection of pistols.
