Big Bee, how is that you were a 'sniper in Nam' when you had an MOS as a cook? You might've made a few 'grenade throws' with those damn biscuits you made and killed some sappers. lol

No .338 Lapua? I know performance wise it's a tossup with 338-378 but this will certainly limit any agency adoption.

It's not tactical because nobody doing anything involving tactics will be buying it.

Weatherby knows this, you can tell by the fact that they're starting with the "I wanna pretends I'ms a snipa in eye racks!" desert camo job, and not black.

We all know damn well that no military is going to buy this in any of those calibers and that if they were they don't want silly "desert camo".

If they did plan to sell to LE it would come in black, and not be chambered in eccentric "I have a Weatherby" cartirdges. For example .338 Lapua Magnu would be offered first. However in reality tactical operations are generally carried out with .308, LE all over the world and militaries all over the world chose it for pretty much everything mid range. Longer ranges get .338 LM or .50 BMG.

This rifle is a toy for eccentric rich men who want something fancy pants looking that they can shoot from the bench with at their local range, the only threat will be the one from their wife when they tell it how much it costs.
