The Farquharson action was a significantly important part of the evolution of British firearms that I was surprised that no one really brought it back after WW-2 when the British gunmaking industry collapsed. Yes, Ruger had their Number 1 and Number 3 designs but they were not true Farkys and some experts don't like them because the main spring attaches to a lug on the barrel, potentially causing inaccuracy over a period of time. Even at the relatively high prices that greg Soroka plans to sell his rifles, I do think that he will sell a bunch. There is a demand for fine hunting guns and a completely bespoke piece like the Soroka design would not turn off many potential buyers in the range it is priced in. If he keeps the quality up and markets these rifles well, I do think he could make a lot of money. Good hunting! Steve,
