Yes, the Grendel is superior to the 5.56 and 7.62 NATO and bridges the gap between the two rounds. Im sure the ACR is a wonderful rifle. I think the 6.5 ACR is a grat weapon. I can say in my opion that 6.5 grendell is a better round than 5.56mm and could come close to 7.62 NATO w/o the recoil some whips hate. If it can compete with the Grendel and ammo and reloading components made available it'll make the Grendel folks nervous. I really like the 6.5 bullet and might consider the new cartridge for a build on a new Black Rain Ordnance billet upper and lower I just picked up.
