		<description>Woodman, the exposed trigger doesn&#039;t matter much since it is a single-action-only gun. You must manually pull the hammer back before it can fire. Pulling the trigger while the hammer is down will have absolutely no effect. 

As a side note, I saw one of the old S&amp;W 22 tip-up revolvers (re-nickeled) at a gun show about a year ago for just $100. That was before I knew what it was and I still can&#039;t stop kicking myself for passing it.</description>
