The Nova buttstock and receiver are molded as one piece. I have a Nova that was a Valentine's Day present from my wife several years ago. I loved the ergonomics and the shell ejection button, but it kicked like a mule. I added both the mercury recoil reducer AND a limbsaver pad at the same time and it made a huge difference.
