In my opinion, all of the Performance Center revolvers with non-standard barrel profiles have been damned ugly since Paul Liebenberg and John French left. The shorter .38 Super should be easier to speedload as it can't flop around quite as much in the moonclips as the .357 Magnum. The shorter case should also eject more easily. Outside of the competition market, I am not sure how popular they are, but in certain circles such as dedicated ICORE shooters, or people who use a revolver for Steel Challenge, an 8 shot .38 Super revolver is pretty much <i>the berries</i> for those games. Man, now I want one of these. They drop these on the market occasionally – I remember they did a run of ‘em back in 2001 or so.
