I think I'd rather start my kids with proper target shooting tough. Cans and bottles somehow doesn't seem like a good foundation for proper marksmanship... And it goes without saying that children should never be allowed to handle firearms until they fully understand and adhere to the four safety rules. Good for him, and his kids.
