Comments on: Winchester Hyper Speed HP and new 555 Round Bulk Pack

I just picked up a pack of that 555 round stuff at a Walmart near my friends house, on the other side of town. Totally didn’t expect to find any .22LR, much less a bulk pack. I snatched that thing quick.

Some people are reporting issues with these, so we’ll see how it goes. The Federal stuff shoots reliably from my T/C R-55 Benchmark, but accuracy is pretty low. I’m not expecting anything better from the Winny stuff, but who knows?

It used to be “333″, it’s nice that they added 222 more bullets to the brick, IMO! My 10/22 and Browning Camper eat this bulk much more reliably than Remington fodder. Intend to keep about 3000 rounds in my ammo stash.

I hope these get picked up by Walmart. I like the Federal bulk pack and they are fairly consistent for cheap fun and CCI Mini-Mags for light hunting but it’s always good to have options.
