this is great news for the American shooters...

I shoot IPSC production class with this pistol and I can say that it is more than a CZ.

The extended cover makes it more muzzle heavy and that is good for recoil and feel...Holding the Jericho makes you feel you are holding a REAL firearm if that appeals to you.

And if you havent noticed the grip (backstrap) it is reconfigured...There is more metal missing in the area below the beavertail and that suits people with fat medium sized hands ALOT...Grip is more natural than say Glocks, Walther etc...NO ONE in our gun club that starts with a Glock and tries the Jericho has return to the G pistol again.

Admitedly the polymer Jericho versions have fingergrooves and that kills the GRIP thing for me...And i really hope KBI does something better with the black finish...We have issues with corrosion induced by sweaty hands, but the Chromed version is GTG...

Most people don't realize that it is just a cosmetically altered Tanfoglio, itself a clone of the CZ75. At least towards the beginning, many of the parts were made in Italy under Israeli supervision.

I would pick one up in .45 if it came along at the right price. I always liked the way they fit in my hand. The Baby Eagle always had good heft in the hand and the 9mm I used shot very well.

The Israelis designed these pistols to survive a nuclear apocalypse, and they probably will. I have always wanted one, but I can't justify it when I have so many other designs that I don't play with as it is.
