Also, it would be difficult to get the powder/projectile seated right without an air gap from the breach to the powder/projectile and that could cause enough pressure to bulge the bbl. @Freiheit

I love my Hawken but I would change that about it if I could. Cleaning it is sort of a hassle - though it does kinda smell good. This doesn't seem that different from the Pursuit II XLT (which costs less) but it does appear to have some kind of fancy feature at the muzzle. I'm not clear if it's a short length of bore-diameter barrel, which does really help with loading, or something else. That removable breech also makes cleaning soooooo much easier.
