that is really a pitty but maybe my local gunshop can import it from the states.That would be nice because nobody saw one overhere.
I read about this Blackwater 1911 in the last Guns & Ammo edition so that’s why I got interested in this one.

Dave, I don’t think so. It was a limited edition and since blackwater have been renamed (to “Xe”), they will never make anymore.

my bet is its as good as any SIG 1911, but it just seems wrong having swiss cheese eaters make a 1911, why not buy american?

Let me start with saying i am a well protected man thanks to BW. Many of them are my brothers for life here or at home they have watched me well for about 14 months they are the best there is silent professionals. But remember during every war there are scape goats the things our country ask’s of us at many time’s they don’t ask us how do we get to this point they say get us to this point things get ugly. That is how answers are gotten war’s are won and FREEDOM is defended those who refuse to stand have 0% right to open their mouths ….oh wait no you have every right the to because we gave you that right. To bad we should have never fought that hard for the grateful. On a earlier not in this blog ive served in the military and also know some of the facts on the blackwater situation and insurgents mixed in with civilians …. wow the blackwater guys should of just layed there weapons down ….. no better they should have just shot themselves to save the insurgents the bullets (a bit of sarcasim) and the united states has logos on lots of guns and we have accidently killed thousands of civilians ITS CALLED WAR PEOPLE AND IN WAR SOMETIMES INNOCENT PEOPLE DIE but no one is telling all the good stuff blackwater soldiers have done …. but hey like they say do a thousand good deads and no one remembers do one bad and your marked for life!

Nobody needs anykind of press when you capture and trace back firearms on terrorists,Turkish govt complained officially and your govt probed further and found the truth,thats all.Sun Tzu wrote”do not hesitate to encounter your enemy in a hundred year war if you know him and yourself”.Sir do you know yourself or your enemy or who do you know?How would you guys feel if an iranian firearm company engraves Timothy McVeigh on a firearm or ms 13 claims northern territory they lost in 1848,ambushes your border guards in hit and run and you capture illegal firearms that shouldnt be there?

I was a LEO firearms trainer for 25 yrs. and I have had the good fortune to shoot with & work with a couple of Seal Team members and grads of Blackwater. Blackwater is a victim of liberal media smears.
Good people, Good company, BAD PRESS!

I’ve since retired, and now I’m allowed to express my own opinions…
(Hell, I can even carry what I want to carry)
The GSR-1911 is my favorite.
It shoots better than my 220s.

If I could I would run out and get one right now for the very simple facts of
1) It is now a collector gun
2) It is and stands for American lives like it or not
3) We gave them election free and clear and it has been all about freedom nothing more
4) We are only cleaning up now what we should have done back in 1992 when Bush Jr was not in there. Then we had good old Bill making a bigger mess so thank God we had Bush Jr when we did could you even think of Gore running things under 9 / 11?

As for Backwater it is funny how the real truth will never come out like how they were fired on first and or how many rounds they took before they acted. Got to love the kool aid drinking mass media and there sheepls. As the years unfold now going forward I will gladly stand up and say no one can place any blame on my self I voted but not under the kool aid any thing for history making sheepls mind set nope I voted based on records. I voted for what was really the best for America not the UN and the rest of the world’s nut jobs.
And last I voted for privet gun owner ship and the second amendment rights of ours not to destroy them and or any of our rights as I am sure we will soon see as we change from a land of the free and the brave to the land of the socially correct and fallowing the German and French lead!

Why do I want to take this up on your site. Before you post make sure you get your facts right. You’ve been brainwashed by the terrorists and liberal media. You just don’t know it.

I don’t want to waste my weekend discussing this but I’ll give you some information. I live 40 minutes drive from Blackwater in the Hampton Roads area. I have a family member that work there part time. I have friends that work there full and part time. So I know something about Blackwater.

I am not defending Blackwater because I have relative and friends that work there. I am defending Blackwater because morons repeating what other morons told them. You can have Steve verify my IP address.

Do you know what Blackwater does?

Their bread and butter is to train LE and military personnel around the world.

When the Iraqi war started and the State Department need help they turn to Blackwater and other companies like it. They provide PSD (Protective Security Detail) in Iraq. In Iraq they have a clear rule of engagement. They do not go out and hunt insurgents. That’s the military job. Their job is to protect/guard VIP and buildings.

They use to be in the repair vehicle and UAV business but that has been dried up.

Do you know who works there?

Most of their employee are ex military.

Blackwater is located 30 minute drive from the largest Naval base in the world. The Hampton Road area is the largest military complex in the world. It is also the HQ of the Atlantic fleet.

Five of the ten SEAL teams and one SEAL delivery team is base in Hampton Roads.

Most of the Blackwater employee that was base in Iraq came from SEAL, other branch of special operation, Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force, and Law Enforcement. Most saw combat before. Some were in the Vietnam War. They are very discipline and professional. They are not trigger happy.

Blackwater employee acted in self defense in 2007 shooting in Baghdad. The liberal media never pointed out that their vehicles was fill with bullet holes. The media never mention it as far as I know.

If you read Bama posts (4th) on AR15.com you get a clearer picture of what happen that day.

Well, the logo is a collectors item… The company is now Xe (zee) and the bear paw in cross hairs is history. Not sure what this means for thier rifles and this pistol or other mechandising.
