Such BS
LOL
Not paying anywhere near that price for a pistol,no matter how special you think it is,not even if it was custom hand made, looks like i will be sticking w my glock 21 production gun that was 600.00 dollars, thank you.
I have one of these 1911 Blackwater special run guns as well. Mine looks just like the original Blackwater 1911′s except it has brown rosewood grips instead of the black or charcoal wood grips. Mine also shows only 100 were made. Mine is number 69 out of 100 on the slide. I couldnt help but buy that one. I got it off a guy that worked as a contractor for BW and said it was a very limited run they gave employees from their pro shop. It is a beautiful gun that has already gone up a little over %100 over the retail price. I see it as a nice piece of history. My beautiful wife got it for me as a birthday present and I will never part with it, just pass it along to my son or daughter.

I have a very special limited edition/issuance of a Sig-Sauer Blackwater branded 1911, numbered 100 of 150 total produced. This is a VERY unique firearm in its exclusivity per all the announced facts previously written. It is in a finish undisclosed on any Google-able search. What is the offer in American dollars for those few who know of this weapon?”
Very nice 1911 bought it because i grew up shooting a combat commander and ive always wanted a 1911 of my own. My blackwater is longer but lighter and i think very well balnced. I,ve carried the m9 overseas and i would just like to slap the officer who came up with the idea for us to carry that piece of awesome equipment over a 1911. Over all a great gun overpriced simply because of bw tag but i dont know anyone who has even heard of one might be worth more than i paid in 5 yrs.
Recently purchased a Sig Sauer Tactical Operations 1911. From what I am told this is the Blackwater without the logo(s). I have a variety of 1911′s, other Sigs, Springfield Armory, and Kimbers, but the Tactical Operations is perhaps the most accurate, user friendly, 1911 I have ever taken to the range.
If I had to choose between keeping the Tactical Operations or my Kimber Combat Gold, the Kimber would be on the way out of the door, and I like my Kimbers.
wow, such interesting thoughts when all the guy did was ask if it was a good weapon.Yes it’s got special markings(same as a state police issue)but it’s probly no different than the other 1911′s sig has produced. And yes I did buy one.

They are sweet, just seen 2 of them at my local gun show, this past weekend. wish i had the money to get one then, prob. never see them again!
sig sauer 1911 is a friggin wikid pistol, and the blackwater edition tops it off. I recently just got my self one, love it.
Good grief, boys …. this is just a Sig 1911 Nitron with BW logos on it … right?
Hello Steve,
that is really a pitty but maybe my local gunshop can import it from the states. That would be nice because nobody saw one overhere.
I read about this Blackwater 1911 in the last Guns & Ammo edition so that’s why I got interested in this one.
Can I get this gun in Europe ??
Dave, I don’t think so. It was a limited edition and since blackwater have been renamed (to “Xe”), they will never make anymore.
my bet is its as good as any SIG 1911, but it just seems wrong having swiss cheese eaters make a 1911, why not buy american?
i am not merkin but even I only trust merkin made 1911s.
I came here to get info on the Sig 1911 Blackwater pistol, does anyyone even know if it’s a good gun?
Let me start with saying i am a well protected man thanks to BW. Many of them are my brothers for life here or at home they have watched me well for about 14 months they are the best there is silent professionals. But remember during every war there are scape goats the things our country ask’s of us at many time’s they don’t ask us how do we get to this point they say get us to this point things get ugly. That is how answers are gotten war’s are won and FREEDOM is defended those who refuse to stand have 0% right to open their mouths ….oh wait no you have every right the to because we gave you that right. To bad we should have never fought that hard for the grateful. Remember when you see someone and you know he has been to hell and back ask him how it feels to sleep in a connex with wood over your roof to protect the ungrateful worthless spoiled children that think war and fighting is easy and pretty there is nothing easy but remember SLEEP TIGHT BECAUSE WE GAVE THAT RIGHT TO YOU PLEASE ABUSE EVERY RIGHT WE GIVE YOU TO MAKE US LOOK BAD FOR WHAT YOU ASKED US TO DO AND WE STOOD TALL TO ANSWER ALL CALLS NEVER FAULTING …….
Oh p.s. …………. DUMB AS REMARKS FROM PEOPLE THAT DONT KNOW THERE FACTS SHOULD STOP WATCHING CNN FOR THERE DAY TO DAY INFO ON THE WAR ON TERROR. If you have not offered service for the rights you have just say thank you to the police, fire dept. and soldiers of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, by the way 3rd batt. 75th rangers hooooaaa. lol sig great pistols and great 1911 wish i could find one with the logo of blackwater.
On a earlier not in this blog ive served in the military and also know some of the facts on the blackwater situation and insurgents mixed in with civilians …. wow the blackwater guys should of just layed there weapons down ….. no better they should have just shot themselves to save the insurgents the bullets (a bit of sarcasim) and the united states has logos on lots of guns and we have accidently killed thousands of civilians ITS CALLED WAR PEOPLE AND IN WAR SOMETIMES INNOCENT PEOPLE DIE but no one is telling all the good stuff blackwater soldiers have done …. but hey like they say do a thousand good deads and no one remembers do one bad and your marked for life!
Nobody needs anykind of press when you capture and trace back firearms on terrorists,Turkish govt complained officially and your govt probed further and found the truth, thats all.Sun Tzu wrote”do not hesitate to encounter your enemy in a hundred year war if you know him and yourself”.Sir do you know yourself or your enemy or who do you know? How would you guys feel if an iranian firearm company engraves Timothy McVeigh on a firearm or ms 13 claims northern territory they lost in 1848,ambushes your border guards in hit and run and you capture illegal firearms that shouldnt be there?
I was a LEO firearms trainer for 25 yrs. and I have had the good fortune to shoot with & work with a couple of Seal Team members and grads of Blackwater. Blackwater is a victim of liberal media smears.
Good people, Good company, BAD PRESS!
I’ve since retired, and now I’m allowed to express my own opinions…
(Hell, I can even carry what I want to carry)
The GSR-1911 is my favorite.
It shoots better than my 220s.
If I could I would run out and get one right now for the very simple facts of
1) It is now a collector gun
2) It is and stands for American lives like it or not
3) We gave them election free and clear and it has been all about freedom nothing more
4) We are only cleaning up now what we should have done back in 1992 when Bush Jr was not in there. Then we had good old Bill making a bigger mess so thank God we had Bush Jr when we did could you even think of Gore running things under 9 / 11?
As for Backwater it is funny how the real truth will never come out like how they were fired on first and or how many rounds they took before they acted. Got to love the kool aid drinking mass media and there sheepls. As the years unfold now going forward I will gladly stand up and say no one can place any blame on my self I voted but not under the kool aid any thing for history making sheepls mind set nope I voted based on records. I voted for what was really the best for America not the UN and the rest of the world’s nut jobs.
And last I voted for privet gun owner ship and the second amendment rights of ours not to destroy them and or any of our rights as I am sure we will soon see as we change from a land of the free and the brave to the land of the socially correct and fallowing the German and French lead!
I would like someone to compare para gi expert with this twice the price 45,for blackwater;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackwater_Worldwide_arms_smuggling_allegations
Blackwater is used for blackops, that is for sure;arm pjak to recon iran is the name of todays’ game, yesterday(before 911event)us embassy staff were always complaining about using of nato equipment in anti terror ops(close friends’first hand incident). Then we all discovered there are terrorists out there.Supporting who?Do you have children, dont let Gaza be another Warsaw?I only wish everyone to do their job,ex seal killed during arms trade(look debka file),what are intel guys are for?I also wish smarter people to take part in politics instead of Bush Jr types(also at intel, armed forces, jails, man everywhere).War and peace needs better planning I presume(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0912593/).Lets get back to firearms.
LOL, I rest my case, there is a big double standard and no I am not a liberal.
However, I forgot to include in my last post that Sig 1911′s are over priced and finicky eaters in my experience.
Blackwater has my support just like Israel does. This pistol just became a collectors item because of the corporate re-branding to “Xi”.
I support the preservation of American lives at ANY cost.
Why do I want to take this up on your site. Before you post make sure you get your facts right. You’ve been brainwashed by the terrorists and liberal media. You just don’t know it.
I don’t want to waste my weekend discussing this but I’ll give you some information. I live 40 minutes drive from Blackwater in the Hampton Roads area. I have a family member that work there part time. I have friends that work there full and part time. So I know something about Blackwater.
I am not defending Blackwater because I have relative and friends that work there. I am defending Blackwater because morons repeating what other morons told them. You can have Steve verify my IP address.
Do you know what Blackwater does?
Their bread and butter is to train LE and military personnel around the world.
When the Iraqi war started and the State Department need help they turn to Blackwater and other companies like it. They provide PSD (Protective Security Detail) in Iraq. In Iraq they have a clear rule of engagement. They do not go out and hunt insurgents. That’s the military job. Their job is to protect/guard VIP and buildings.
They use to be in the repair vehicle and UAV business but that has been dried up.
Do you know who works there?
Most of their employee are ex military.
Blackwater is located 30 minute drive from the largest Naval base in the world. The Hampton Road area is the largest military complex in the world. It is also the HQ of the Atlantic fleet.
Five of the ten SEAL teams and one SEAL delivery team is base in Hampton Roads.
Most of the Blackwater employee that was base in Iraq came from SEAL, other branch of special operation, Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force, and Law Enforcement. Most saw combat before. Some were in the Vietnam War. They are very discipline and professional. They are not trigger happy.
Blackwater employee acted in self defense in 2007 shooting in Baghdad. The liberal media never pointed out that their vehicles was fill with bullet holes. The media never mention it as far as I know.
If you read Bama posts (4th) on AR15.com you get a clearer picture of what happen that day.

I don’t know everything about blackwater, but I do know a lot about fake brainwashed patriots that watched to much john Wayne movies. I can just about gaurantee, I have seen and experience more violence or combat than 90 percent of the pussies up here but I don’t glorify mercenaries and dam sure don’t think its cool to kill poor innocent middle eastners. If you John Wayne wannabes put as much passion in going after the corrupt corporations and politicians that are destroying america maybe we could have a real democracy and a better country.
LOL, thanks but im just observing the facts. Take this up with me on my site if you really want but not here.
Would that be the “Xe” now? I bet they’re pissed.
Well, the logo is a collectors item… The company is now Xe (zee) and the bear paw in cross hairs is history. Not sure what this means for thier rifles and this pistol or other mechandising.
22lr you been brainwashed by the liberal media and the terrorist propaganda machine.
This is NOT something you want to use for self defense in California.
So HS precision gets hung out to dry for hiring Lon Horiuchi, Blackwater kills civilians in Iraq and they get logos an guns. Double standard anyone?????? Sig just lost my business (black water lost it long ago).
To the Monitor: Completely off subject, if you choose not to post it I understand your policy.
Do a little research, Lon Horiuchi should probably be in jail. One the basic and rudimentary rules for weapons use is to know what is beyond your field of view, and yes, I think that includes closed doors. As a professional he took a shot that should have never been made. If HS Precision took some heat for using him, or his name, it was well deserved heat. Yeah I know, arm chair quarterback and all that, but a closed door is a closed door.
Additionally why should a federal agent be given immunity, when acting within their capacity as an agent, and a civilian contractor in a war zone be hung out to dry, or hung from a bridge, take your choice. Some bad choices made by both entities, but one was protected and one was not.
But back to basics, we are talking about a simple pistol made by one of the most reputable gun manufacturers in the world. The thing about Sig Sauer pistols and rifles is that they work. They work every time you pull the trigger and do not come with instructions that say; “put 500 rounds through this pistol to break it in.”
For those worried about purchasing an American made product, please take the time to look at the frame of your Sig and you will most likely see Sig Sauer Inc., Exeter, NH. At least Sig is creating manufacturing jobs for Americans and you can’t say that about Glock, Springfield Armory, Taurus, and other companies to numerous to mention. Has Para Ordinance moved here yet?
And as far as price goes I can only relate what a salesman told me when I was looking for a motorcycle helmet. “If you think your head is only worth $100.00 then you should by all means buy a $100.00 helmet. If you place more value than $100.00 on your head then let me show you something else. Can’t say there is much difference between pistols and motorcycle helmets.
I like it. The blackwater logo is a nice touch. I don’t like rail on handguns in general.
It’s a shame they messed up such a nice gun with the Blackwater logos…
