Why on earth would you mount your sidearm to a rifle? It totally defeats the purpose of having a sidearm. There is absolutely no logical application for this unit. If you run out of ammo, you reload the gun. If you run out of ammo, and have somebody in your sights, how the heck are you supposed to aim the secondary?? You simply lower your rifle and draw your sidearm like you are supposed to do. This is one of the worst ideas that I have ever seen. Ask somebody like Chris Costa from Magpul what he thinks about something like this...I'll bet he laughs his tail off or does the cliche - if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all. They liked them in urban conditions. It is combat proven as far as IDF testing in conflicts go. It was all over the tv programs back in the 90s. But I can't see that being faster or easier to use than just transitioning from your AR to your pistol.
