At SHOT magpul have displayed their new EMAG and a 7.62mm PMAG.
There is not much information available and some of the forums I have read are saying contradictory things. This is my take on it, I may be wrong and if I am I will update this post with the correct information.
The EMAG is a 5.56mm slick-sided STANAG magazine. It is compatible with all rifles that use STANAG magazines, such as the HK416, FN2000, Steyr AUG (NATO variant) and many other rifles civilian and military . This is a very clever move by Magpul and could dramatically increase their export sales.

EMAG
The 7.62mm PMAG is compatible with SR-25 compatible rifles and the Magpul Massoud.

UPDATE: I was right (that does not happen very often!). EMAG is short for Export Magazine. It will retail for $22.95.

Freedom Arms are producing reloading equipment for what is probably the first new cartridge of 2009.
The 224-32 FA is a .327 Federal Magnum necked down to .224. The result is a high velocity rimmed revolver cartridge suitable for varminting. It is was not rimmed it would probably be classified as what are now called PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) cartridges (small and fast pistol cartridges).

The max load is a 40 gr. Blitz King or V-Max bullet pushed out the barrel at 2270 fps, generating 457 ft/lbs of energy.
The parent cartridge, the .327 Federal Magnum, was launched last year in January.

The first gun to chamber this round is a Freedom Arms Model 97. It can hold 6 rounds and is available in 4 1/4″, 5 1/2″, 7 1/2″ and 10″ barrel lengths. Retail price: $1840.
H&R (A Remington company) have produced a new shotgun designed specifically for slugs. H&R Pardner Pump Slug features a proprietary rifling design called Ultragon which was designed to provide greater slug accuracy. From the press release:
Rifling further enhances the accuracy potential of the Pardner Pump Cantilever Slug Gun. Ultragon is a proprietary rifling design comprised of six lands and grooves without sharp edges like traditional rifling. This design imparts bullet spin without leaving sharp impressions on the sabot jacket or foster-style lead slug. The result is a better gas seal and less loss of pressure, which equals higher velocity and better accuracy

Specs:
Model: Pardner Pump Slug (NP1-12C/NP1-2SC)
Gauge: 12 (2 3/4 and 3-inch)
Stock: American Walnut / Black Synthetic.
Barrel: 22 inches. Ultragon rifling.
Metal Finish: Blued
Sights: Cantilever Scope Mount
Length: 42 1/8 inches
Length of Pull: 14 1/2 inches
Weight: 7 1/2 lbs.
The new H&K P30L is a long slide version of the P30 pistol. It is identical to the P30 with the exception of having a 4.44″ barrel instead of the P30 3.86″ barrel. The sigh radius is 0.57″ longer.

Wow, that is not a blog title I expected to ever write. Federal have unveiled .410 “Personal Defense Handgun” ammunition designed specifically for the Taurus Judge .45 Colt / .410 revolver.

Two 2.5″ buckshot loads will be available. The first load is 0.5 oz ( 218 grain) #4 buckshot which I think works out to be about 10 pellets (according to wikipedia, correct me if I am wrong). The other load has four 000 pellets (9mm). The muzzle velocity is 1200 fps.
The Judge from TaurusĀ® has emerged as a very popular handgun for Personal DefenseĀ®. This specialized gun has been without a specialized load-until now. Federal introduces two 2-1/2″ loads designed especially for The Judge. A special hull design and optimal payloads make these loads perfect for this gun. Choose between a 1/2-oz #4 or 4 pellet 000 buck option-either way the performance will be there.

The Massoud is a concept semi-automatic 7.62x51mm rifle by Magpul. It looks like it is s scaled up Magpul/Bushmaster Masada/ACR. The Massoud takes 7.62x51mm PMAGS.

It is presumably named after Ahmad Shah Massoud aka. Lion of Panjshir who was a pro-western Afghan who fought the Soviets. He was assassinated by suspected al-Qaeda agents two days before 9/11.
Don’t expect to see this rifle at your local gun dealer anytime soon, if ever.
Benelli gets new media. They have a new website that is very aesthetically pleasing and modern with some nice touches like providing their promotion videos in the iPod format.
Benelli are utilizing the web to hype the “next generation hunting shotgun” which will be unveiled on March 31.

A dedicated “Vinci” website has movie clips showing a secret agent dodging AK-47 wielding thugs carrying a box that supposedly contains the new shotgun.
Winchester have given the Super X3 pump action (SXP) shotguns a makeover. The “Worlds fastest pump” now has a more high tech design.

I like the designs, they are very “Benelli”, which in my books is a good thing. Personally I would have preferred a name change, the Super-X brand is getting tired and overused.
The Winchester website has not yet been updated.
No more information on this compact carbine is available other that what I have already posted, but here is a photo taken at SHOT by Remov:

This is the first high quality photo I have seen of the 4th Generation Glock featuring the RTF2 (Rough Texture Frame 2). That fish gill serrations are awful.

I think 3rd gen glocks will be considered the “classic” and having an older one will be “cool”.
UPDATE: From the press release:
The G22 RTF2 (Rough Textured Frame version #2) has more than 4,000 raised pyramids on the front, rear and sides of the polymer receiver. The raised pyramids are also located on the thumb rests for increased grip traction. In addition, the slide on the G22 RTF2 has a new, modern look with crescent-shaped serrations located at the rear of the slide.
“We have already had several major agencies commit to the G22 RTF2 and have had an outpouring of interest from our Commercial and Law Enforcement distributors about our new product,” said Director of Sales Craig Dutton.
