I’m curious to know whether searpacks would work on this gun. If the bcg is the same I don’t see any reason why not.

    • daskro, hmmm, i didn’t think of that. I guess it depends on how much of a clone the 32 KF is.

h&k did try to make a g3 in 7.62×39 before, i think. i remember seeing it on hkpro.com. apparently it is ancient and just a prototype that was never put into full production.

  • I could not find the thread (theAKforums), but what I remember is the review was not to happy.

I have a patent on a magwell conversion for the 91/32 rifle. Jose of JLD didn’t want to buy my idea and won’t show me what he has. I think he is trying to copy my idea. If he does we will be in court over it.

The patent will apply . but are you sure HK dident try it frist? did you do a international search on it or just a patent in the US ?

Check out the PTR91 website.. they just announced that the PTR 32 will take AK mags.. this one is now on my short list. I love my PTR91

  • Looks great! i’m looking forward to seeing this in action, i love the combination of the AK and HK.

  • These are great rifles. A caliber line for HK style rifles. All those with registered sears will be happy to add yet another type of weapon they can shoot in full auto.

  • After a lot of agonizing(I already have a CZ VZ58) I popped for a PTR-32 yesterday and stopped by the range with it. Ran a boresnake thru it and blazed away. Great Rifle. Not as twitchy as the VZ. Certainly as reliable. A keeper. Old Jose has gotten his thing together. I had one of the first PTR 91’s and despised it. It liked only match ammo anything else would lock up the action. One wonders if that problem has been solved. If so, I would most likely trade in my M1 for another PTR

  • i am looking into a ptr 32 kf. 7.62×39 anything negative i should know? i am reading some very positive info. wondering if anyone can give me some info from personal experience before i make purchase?

I have the PTR32. I put 500 rounds of Tula through it on Saturday at 100M it held about a 2″ group w/o any optics. Its a bit heavy compared to my m4 but its not so much that you cant shoot standing. I love it and with it taking AK mags and ammo that are so cheep helps.
Does anyone know if an ACOG will work for a 7.62×39 because its made for a .223 and i don’t want to drop 900$ for a scope that wont work properly.

  • joe

the standard steel mags fit but how do they feed reliably

  • sogama

i use tapco and steel have no issues with either. but Hollow Point jams about every 5 to 7 rounds.

  • Braden

Does anyone know of a person, gunsmith or Company that can modify

a ptr32, (it shoots the 7.62×39 Ak round) to accept the Ak drum mag. 75 or 100 rd.

    Thanks

  • Really enjoyed this article. Great.
