I was at the range yesterday and this old guy was shooting a 22-6MM. The barrel was made by Paul Hart and the gun body was a Ruger M77-2506. That thing will shoot flat out past 400 yards. He was shooting 1/2″ groups at 100 yards. I was very impressed with this rifle. Just wanted to share.

I’m getting the same accuracy as Jim in the 243 with 80 GR. PSP factory loads from Winchester.

I have a precision hunter 22-250 I have a nikon monarch 6-24-50 on it busting eggs at 250 and 300 yds. love it

I just got the Precision hunter in 308 cal. and put a Schmidt & Bender 3x12x50 on it and it shoots very nice to me,From the factory it was MOA @ .590 with Fed. 150 SP ( $13.00 a box @ Wal-mart).I’ve only shot the Fed. bullets in it for now but are going to see if the gun my like something better ,But with those rounds I’m shooting right at 1/2 in. groups.Very happy with the Gun.

Doug, Great, that sounds very cool. That should be a nice duel varmint/hunting rifle in .243.

If you can take some photos of it and email them to me I would really appreciate it. I love seeing new guns and posting them on the blog.

I have already purchased a Leupold VL 6.5×20 50mm scope for the Icon Precision Hunter 243. I will let you know how it goes. I’m kind of excited. It gives me something to look forward to.

I have two fantastic Rugers in the 22-250 and the 300 WM. They both shot groups less the 1/2 inch. They both have the built in box magazine. The bullets in the magazine get damaged during recoil. What is the cure for this.

I just ordered the Icon Precision Hunter in the 243. They say it is back ordered. Do you have any idea when they will have products to deliver? Do you think it will meet the hype?
