I have owned one for almost a year. Shot it over 300 rounds clean it maticulously. Extracting issues. extracting issues. took it to 2 different gun smiths. probably gonna trade it for the defender series. anyone in here own the defender. i am curious bout?
One feed issue, I think it is an extractor issue.
Thanks for your reply.
One last question.
What other pistol is the same size as the S&W 1911 Sub Compact Pro Series. Do not see this pistol listed on Galco or other pistol holster charts.
I have a galco hip holster for everyday use. Also a galco SOB one that works well for “relaxed” use. Also try crossbreedholsters.com
Curious – What holsters fit the S&W 1911 Sub Compact Pro Series?
anyone know if i can get mags like that for my colt officer model…. with the little pinky finger grip piece thing??? i have been looking everywhere
Wow. Had mine almost a year now and 3k rounds later with NO issues. Carry it every day and I LOVE IT. Yes it was spendy but oh so worth it.
Very nice. I WANT ONE NOW!! Looks as if this might be the “new” carry gun. Read the report in g&a today. Looks very good. S&W does need to work on the price tag.
The external extractor on this S&W works. Kimber made a mistake by taking short cuts. Extractor not having enough weight for inertia to work properly and not enough spring tension.
Ouch on that price tag, but it is nice!
The external extractor in 1911 is what ended Kimber as the premier 1911 manufacture. They never recover from it.
WANT!
