    $800 is nothing. I have seen $2000+ 10/22 build.

    I was leaning toward modifying my factory 10/22 but decided otherwise. I already bought a $200 threaded barrel, $180 stock, and a suppressor ($400). Not sure what optics I would put on it tho. All I need now is the receiver and trigger pack. That would cost me another $400.

    It does get expensive building custom 10/22
