I just purchased a complete Del-Ton M-4 style AR-15. The finish on the upper and lower receivers is the best I have seen. Everything is mil-spec, you have the M-4 feed ramps (they didn't have the feed ramps extend into the upper receiver but they are still done right). The gas key is staked although I think they could of staked it a little better but that can be easily corrected. the castle nut on the butt stock is not staked but again, this can be easily corrected. As for accuracy, once I got it sighted in, my grouping was probably around ½" to an inch at 25 yards (this was using cheap reloads) I am sure that the accuracy will go up with better ammo.
If you are looking to purchase a complete Del-Ton rifle, I would recommend it!

Living in California I wasn't very familiar with the legality of AR's for this state, except they were banned. I realized I could buy an off list stripped lower (CMMG) and build a California legal AR. After extensive research, I decided on Del-Ton. Their prices were very reasonable, feedback comments from customers were very positive, and I purchased( on 3/6/09) a 20" flat top rifle kit with a Phantom comp. Del-Ton has answered my emails, and even made some adjustments to my order. They should ship it around the first of September, 2009. I can only use 10rd. mags and must use a magazine lock. If you are in California, look at www.riflegear.com a California company, for additional parts or accessories. I have everything I need to assemble and head for the range.
Quite a few AR kit/accessory suppliers never even responded to my questions prior to making my decision on Del-Ton.

I'm glad to see them finally making some waves. I talked to them at SHOT last February and thought they had a good thing going. They were definitely personable and seemed like the types to do everything to make things go right. Been kinda wondering what happened.

At first I didn't think $750 was a good deal. Then I think about and it is a great deal with the BCG, two mag, sling, and a hard case. Del-Ton makes good custom AR15 so you can't go wrong with their product.

I build complete AR15 as a hobby so I am kind a behind on the current AR15 prices.

For those that buy complete uppers, here is a suggestion. Buy the upper without the BCG. Go to Bravo Company or any online AR15 store and get a full auto BCG. The full auto BCG are a lot stronger and better then the ones that come with the upper. It cost a little bit more but it will last for a long time.

I completed my first AR-15 last week using a mid-length rifle kit from Del-Ton that included everything but the stripped lower receiver. Assembly went well, and they included spares for a couple of fiddly parts. Communication was excellent throughout the ordering/shipping process, even during the aftermath of the election. I cannot recommend Del-Ton enough.

At $750 including a chrome-lined barrel, two mags, a sling, and a case, it seems like a good deal on a quality rifle.
