I have been using several of the Winchester Supreme rifle ammunition loadings since they started making the Fail Safe, Ballistic Tip and Nosler Partition loadings years ago. I have been shooting this ammunition regularly in (6) different calibers (.243-.300WSM) for many years. These loadings are the standard for out-of-the-box accuracy and performance as far as I am concerned. The Ballistic Tips regularly shoot groups as small as my best handloads ever could with groups as small as 1/2 MOA in rifles capable of shoot those small groups.

The only Silvertip loading that I normally shoot is the 350 grain, 45/70 load. This Silvertip loading is capable of shooting 1-1/2 MOA groups at 100 yards in a Model 1895 Marlin. It also works well on deer sized game. I will continue to use Winchester rifle and shotgun ammunition until someone shows me something better.

well, i for one will be happy to buy a couple of boxes of these. since i ccw a 45, it will be conveinient to carry the same ammo as the fbi. if it is good enough for the nations best law enforcement officers, it is good enough for me. plus, i have always liked winchester ammo. if it isnt winchester in my gun, it is most likely handloaded ammo.

Not impressed with Winchester ammunition. Today I found a recall for 150 grain ballistic silvertip in 7mm rem mag and when I called they wont stand behind product because I dont have ammo from 2005. That is 3 years ago. I have fired nothing but winchester silvertips since they came out and have always fired winchester from all my rifles from 17hmr to 22-250, 270, 7 mag, 300, 25-06. That all changes today when I find out they dont back their product. All I want is my rifle to eject shells properly. Didnt ask for refund. Just a working rifle that was passed from my grandfather when he passed. Hope many will follow.
