3 inch groups at 50ft, you cant complain about the sights to much. What kind of ammo did you use?

Just received my SR9 back from Ruger's recall. I took it to the range and shot a hundred rounds through it. The trigger was fine, and the clip release works pretty smooth. And I like the way it handles. I shot a 3 inch group at 50 feet, shooting rapidly. I bought it to carry and use in the home for self defense. I think it will be good for that. The only thing, I wish it had is a bigger rear sight. the 3 dots are a bit small.

the new trigger is good gets time to get use to
when I took the gun out of the box i was thinking
son of a ^&%*&, damm ruger, but the trigger pull is now 5/16 vs the 9/16th on my Kahr ( I luv Kahr, best CCG in the world) so one shot target placement is improved. In a self defense situation you point and shot no slow squeeze. This gun is not made for target work, its a duty gun, a home defense gun, and a fun gun at the range to unload rounds. If you want accuracy if single action, and if you get a 1911 get a good trigger job, if you think you are gettign good acuracy with have creep in the trigger put a laser on your gun and watch your ponit of impact while you hold the gun.

I'm really upset I DO NOT LIKE THAT TYPE OF TRIGGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! personelly i liked the little bit of travel in the trigger cause i could hold it there and know that any fether pull would fire the round. Looks like i'll be looking for another firearm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got my gun back
Ruger customer service sucks butI have to say the gun does not
took 3 months to get my gun back and many phone calls
new design of trigger is short and sweet, mag relaease is now much cleaner
as far as riping off glock look around many guns have this design and honestly its not that great, 1911 stlye grip saftey is the way to go, I have glocks, 1911, s&w, ruger has never made a good semi auto other than .22's
If you don't want a ruger buy the redesigned xd (slim stlye) but for the money you will save ont ehruger you can get rail atachments, and some xs 24/7 sights soon to be available

First Ruger rips off Kel Tec and now they rip off Glock.

I guess they're still making a quality product....and doing so in the USA....but its getting harder to respect them and be proud to own one.
