the hospital employee is a real stupid man!
the oxigen is flammable & explosive gas.
and these particular characteristics must be known in ambient hospital workers….
The oil or grease in the gun & Oxygen are also not a happy mix, all screw threads for O2 cylinders must be grease free as O2 under pressure will heat up the grease, which may well then catch fire &/or explode in a O2 rich environment, which I suspect is what happened here.
