Ruger has sold 87,000 LCPs!
According to Marshal Halloway Ruger have had orders for 87,000 Ruger LCPs. Thats within 5 days of the launch.

Referencing the Ruger LCP - there are about 70, 000 gun dealers in the U.S. according the the study link below. If only 30% of them order 4 units for sale, Ruger will indeed sell over 87K units up front.
