Seems to me like a very good way to have a negligent discharge. ("Sorry, neighbour. Seems I grabbed my loaded 9mm pistol instead of my computer mouse.") Plus that can't be good for keeping your mind "programmed" to only place the trigger finger on the trigger after a concious decision to fire the weapon in your hand. Hmm.
